At The Benton Church, we are committed to helping students grow in their faith and take ownership of their relationship with Jesus. Youth (7th–12th grade) gather together to connect with peers, build meaningful relationships with trusted leaders, and explore God’s Word in ways that are engaging and relevant to the unique challenges and opportunities of teenage life. Time together includes teaching, small group discussion, and experiences designed to help students not only understand the Scriptures but also apply them in everyday life.
What are your values?
Loving Like Jesus, Learning About Jesus, Living Like Jesus, Empowering Parents, A Safe & Fun Environment.
Can I serve with my kids?
Absolutely! In fact, we love when families serve together—it’s a great way to grow in faith side by side.
How do you keep my kids safe?
All volunteers are background checked, and every room includes at least one SafeGatherings-certified adult. We follow the “Rule of Two” (two unrelated adults present at all times), and our kids’ areas are monitored by video cameras. Our trained church security team is also present every Sunday. Safety is a big deal to us—ask to see our full policy anytime!
What is a Child Dedication?
Child Dedication is a special service where parents and our church family commit together to raise your special child to know and follow Jesus. It’s a joyful moment of prayer, blessing, and celebration!
What is there for my kid when he or she goes into 7th grade?
They’re invited to join TBC Youth! The summer between 6th and 7th grade, they’re welcome to most kids and youth events to help with the transition.
